Trauma Services offers education about firearm safety, including basic gun safety and awareness, safe handling and storage of firearms, and rules of safe firearm use.
Trauma Services tailors educational presentations so they are appropriate for the age groups they are addressing. Kindergarten through 5th-Grade programming focuses on basic gun safety and awareness through a partnership with Eddie Eagle from the NRA while 6th-grade through 12th-grade students will learn safe handling and storage of firearms, and rules of safe firearm use.
