Dustin was diagnosed with diabetes when he was only two years old. He dealt with daily, painful injections before 2005, when CMN assisted his family in buying an insulin pump.
Josiah
Josiah has autism, making it hard for him to communicate and socialize. Despite the challenges, he is a personable and funny kid with a knack for trivia.
McKenna
MacKenna has diabetes. She has to eat carefully or her blood sugar will spike and fall, causing her to feel sick and shaky.
Kylie
After Kylie experienced severe pancreatitis at age five, her parents learned she has a rare form of cystic fibrosis.
Madison
Madison was born with severe clubbed feet and a rare skin and bone disorder. At age five, she is dealing with scoliosis, kyphosis and dwarfism.
Megan
Megan was diagnosed with stage four cancer in her kidneys. Despite the cancer and the tough treatment, Megan has continued to have a positive attitude, and to do what she loves most: dance.
Grace
Shortly after she was born, Grace was diagnosed with torticollis, a bone abnormality in her neck. She has to move her neck very carefully so she doesn’t destabilize her spine.
Parker
Parker’s hip and knee were damaged from a staph infection and sepsis when he was a baby. He has had multiple surgeries to repair the bones and even the lengths of his legs.
