Child Life Month, observed every March, highlights the essential work of child life professionals — specialists trained to support the emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs of children facing illness or injury. These professionals help reduce fear and anxiety through therapeutic play, education, and emotional support, creating an environment where children and families feel empowered and understood.
This month is also a time to educate our community about child life services and show appreciation for the dedicated professionals who bring joy, comfort, and normalcy to the pediatric experience.
