Extra Life is a gaming-for-good movement that brings people together to support local kids at CoxHealth through Children’s Miracle Network! Whether you play video games, tabletop games, or even host game nights with friends, you can make a real difference for kids facing medical challenges.
Many Extra Lifers livestream their gameplay on Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook, rallying their communities to donate. The biggest event of the year is Game Day in November, but you can play and fundraise whenever it works for you—because sick kids need support all year long!

How Do I Join Extra Life?
Getting started is super easy:
- Head to www.extra-life.org
- Click Sign Up
- Create an account (just your name, email, and a password)
- Choose Classic (free) or upgrade to Platinum to score exclusive incentives!
- Decide if you want to play solo, join a team, or create your own squad
- Set your fundraising goal ($100-$200 is a great starting point!)
- Select CoxHealth as your local CMN Hospital (use this link to find us faster!)
- Fill in your details and boom, you’re in!

Now What?
This is where the fun begins! You can fundraise however you want—the only rule is to have a blast while helping kids.
Stream & Challenge Your Viewers!
Let your audience donate to influence your game! Example:
- $1 = Reroll the dice
- $5 = Heal your DnD character to full health
- $10 = Score a power-up or advantage
- $20 = Revive a character or restart a level
Host a Game Night!
Invite friends over for a board game night, poker night, or Mario Kart tournament and ask for donations to join!
Get Creative with Fundraising!
- Host a bake sale, make custom merch, do a spicy food challenge, or get wacky with donation dares!
